Unpublished Ira Goldberg
Ira Goldberg serves as secretary of the Soetendorp Institute's board of directors. He is an expert in NGO management. He has managed and worked with both emergency and development NGOs and UN agencies in India, Hungary, and a number of countries in sub-Saharan Africa, as well the USA, and the Netherlands. His work has covered such diverse areas as education, food security, community development, aid coordination, peace and reconciliation, violence and conflict prevention, interfaith dialogue, youth work, gender, HIV/AIDS and SGBV. Ira has taught university courses in NGO management and about the third sector generally. He received a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from the School of International and Public Affairs, Columbia University, NY and a Master’s degree in Judaic Studies from the Graduate School of the Jewish Theological Seminary.
Ira is currently living in The Hague with his partner and their two wonderful children.
